Given ASVEL’s disappointing season and the lack of support around Victor Wembanyama at Metropolitans 92, they didn’t face too much competition. AS Monaco players easily dominated the French championship last year. After a mastered regular season (26-8), they suffered no defeat in the playoffs and raced to the title. Not enough to satisfy them, however.

In addition to this brilliant run in Betclic ELITE, the Monegasques surprised many observers by reaching the Final Four of the EuroLeague. A feat that is already quite impressive, but one that they intend to repeat this season.
