Unlike last year, when Red Bull and Aston Martin were pinned down under the new F1 financial regulations, the ten teams in the paddock have evolved in 2022 under the budget cap imposed by the FIA.

The international body has indeed published a press release on Tuesday indicating that the study of the accounts of the ten teams was completed and that no infringement had been detected, specifying that the question of the activities subcontracted by the stables had been particularly examined. .

“The FIA ​​budget cap administration has issued certificates of compliance to the ten teams,” the FIA ​​statement said. She points out that all the teams have shown good faith and cooperation at all times. The financial regulations, essential to F1’s long-term financial stability, will continue to be developed and fine-tuned, including how they are applied and monitored. »
