Seven judokas (four men and three women) will represent Algeria at the 2023 edition of the World Combat Games, scheduled for October 23 in Saudi Arabia, following the preliminary admission list, revealed by the organizers. These are Dris Messaoud (-73 kg), Imad Aghilès Benazoug (-73 kg), Mustapha Yasser Bouamar (+90 kg) and Mohamed El Mahdi Lili (+90 kg) for the men, as well as Zina Bouakache (- 57 kg), Belkadi Amina (-70 kg) and Sonia Aselah (+70 kg) for the ladies. In total, 85 judokas (43 men and 42 women), representing 14 countries from five continents, have already confirmed their participation in this competition, while the registration deadline is still open.
