Aaron Rodgers Addresses Doubts About NFL Season After Injury: ‘Give Me Your Doubts and See What I Do’

The New York Jets quarterback sent a message to people who believe he will no longer play in the NFL season.

Aaron Rodgers talked with ESPN’s Pat McAfee about his future, after the serious injury he suffered on Monday night against Buffalo Bills, and noted that he does not rule out playing this season. “As he said Kevin Garnett‘everything is possible’…”, said the quarterback of New York Jetssending another message to people who do not believe in this option: “give me your doubts and then see what I do.”

The quarterback of the Jetswho barely played in his debut with the New York franchise in week 1 of the 2023 NFL season, confessed that he already knew what was happening to him from the moment he arrived in the locker room and before they performed medical tests.

“A lot of that was what happened in the locker room that night. Before the MRI I knew what happened, I knew I had ruptured my Achilles tendon. “I talked to my wife and I knew it was not a good situation,” she said.

“Now comes the recovery, friends have done it, many colleagues and what I want to say is give me the time I have to spend and those things that you think are going to happen because I only need an extra one percent of inspiration. Give me your doubts, your predictions and see what I do,” she added.

This Thursday he had surgery and after it, the veteran quarterback sent a message on social networks to all his fans. “The surgery went well yesterday. Thank you for all the love and prayers and support. And thanks (to the best) Dr. ElAttrache and his team for putting me at the beginning of the road to recovery,” he said.

Although there is no fixed time for his recovery, it is expected to be at least six months before he can return to activity.
