Women’s volleyball Euro: what time and on what channel to watch the Italy-France quarter-final?

The epic of Les Bleues continues. After a group stage finished in second place, in Estonia, with four victories against Finland (3-0), Estonia (3-0), Spain (3-2) and Slovakia (3-0 ), and a defeat against the Netherlands (1-3), then a successful eighth against Romania (3-1), the French volleyball team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Euro and will face Italy, this Tuesday at 9 p.m.

Italy, the first nation in Europe and second in the world for women’s volleyball, is also one of the host countries for this edition of EuroVolley, along with Germany, Estonia and Belgium. The players of coach Émile Rousseaux will therefore travel to Florence, to their opponents, to play a very high level match.

The qualification in the final phase is already a success

The march is high, for this training which has started a cycle of accelerated progression since the arrival of the Belgian coach, in 2018, but the qualification in the final phase is already a success. Two years ago, Héléna Cazaute’s teammates also made it to the quarters.

Today 15th in the world, Les Bleues have the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in mind, a competition for which they have never qualified, and consider this Euro Volleyball as an opportunity to test their progress for this major event. What better opponents than the Italians to confront the top players in the world? The match will be broadcast this Tuesday, August 29, at 9 p.m., live on the L’Equipe channel (channel 21 on TNT, free access).
