Accordingly, many Union fans would have tried to reach the ticket shop with different devices at the same time. In the short term, “additional security measures had to be taken for the shop in order to limit the number of simultaneous accesses and to ensure the complete processing of active sales transactions,” the statement said: “Unfortunately, these security measures are currently displayed to fans on numerous end devices as error messages. “
The ticket service provider is working on a solution to the problem. Nevertheless, a total of 27,225 season tickets for all three home games were purchased by 15,150 buyers.
For the first time in their club history, the Köpenickers are competing in the premier class, the draw for the group stage will take place on August 31st. Union will play its Champions League home games at the Olympic Stadium for logistical reasons.
