The program of the day of the Worlds

Penultimate day of the world athletics championships in Budapest (Hungary), with a great program on the French side.

On the side of Budapest, the world athletics championships are attacking their home stretch. With the decathlon… but without Kévin Mayer, who withdrew on Friday. On the men’s side, this day on Saturday could still be good for the France team. Thibaut Collet will take part in the pole vault final. Even if a medal seems complicated to achieve, especially behind the untouchable Armand Duplantis, the Habs made a good impression during the qualifications and can believe in their chances.

Relays to save the day?

Another important meeting: the 4x100m relay where the USA seem untouchable in the final… but where the deal is particularly open behind. The 4x400m series could also allow the French relay to shine.

Among the women, the relays will also be honored during this penultimate day of the Worlds. First during the 4x400m series, where the Tricolores could have a good part to play. But also during the 4x100m final. An appointment that should be disputed by Jamaica and the USA. But in relay, you never know…
