The Nightmare in Kobe Bryant’s Dreams: Shaquille O’Neal as a Lip-Syncing Haunt

The collaboration between Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal at the Lakers has not always proven idyllic and has seen the two legends maintain a singular relationship. This, to the point where the Mamba claimed that his ex-teammate haunted him… in his nightmares.

Admittedly fruitful from a sporting point of view, this duo nevertheless caused serious headaches in the staff of the franchise. Indeed, if they had reason to congratulate themselves on their performance side by side, the leaders of the Lakers quickly had to settle a war of egos between Kobe Bryant et Shaquille O’Neal. Separated during the summer of 2004, the two men nevertheless knew how to maintain friendly relations thereafter.
