Clément Poitrenaud (Toulouse rear coach, winner on Sunday in the Top 14 of Montpellier 38-13):
«We didn’t want to suffer the match as was the case in Bayonne, we wanted to take matters into our own hands and set up our game quickly. The instruction was simply to play, not to be timorous and on the defensive like in Bayonne. The boys took responsibility, they decided on their own to play fast penalties, to put a lot of pace from the start and that allowed us to get into the game a bit, to stifle this team Montpellier which was overtaken a little by the speed over the first 20 minutes. It also allowed us to gain confidence, which we lacked until then. Offensively, the guys played together with the desire to find solutions collectively. Defensively, they showed solidarity close to our line to annihilate some actions of Montpellier.»
