Teams, schedule, tournament tree, broadcast on TV and live stream

The group stage is over. 16 nations are now competing against each other in the Round of 16 of the Women’s World Cup. Here you can find out everything about the teams, the schedule and tournament tree as well as the broadcast on TV and live stream.

German football has reached a new low. After the men last winter in Qatar and the U21 boys at the European Championships in Georgen, the German women soccer players have now also failed in the preliminary round of a major international tournament.

The hype that German women’s football has experienced since the European Championship in 2022 is being canceled out by the elimination at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. In the end, the women themselves declared winning the tournament as their goal. After three games in one of the supposedly easier World Cup groups, the DFB team now has to go home.

In contrast, a total of 16 nations made it into the round of 16 and will now meet in the round of 16. Two games will be played on four days, so that the eight quarter-finalists will already be known on Tuesday (8 August).

The next DFB team fails in the group phase: the women also disappoint at the World Cup appearance.
