The Spanish Carolina Marínsixth seed, has been imposed this Friday on the Taiwanese Tai Tzu-Ying and secured his place in the semifinal of the badminton world championships in Copenhagen, after a victory by 21-16 and 21-14.
Marín managed to beat a direct rival, since the Taiwanese occupies two places higher in the world ranking, and will play on Saturday against the Japanese Akane Yamaguchi for a spot in the tournament final. In addition, the Andalusian has secured the fourth world medal of his career.
