232 riders raced on the iconic Exteme race track. The Spaniard Manuel Merillas arrived first at the finish line in 3h19’17” and the Russian Anastasia Rubtsova in 4h10’34”.
Good first for Merillas who, seven days after the record attempt at the Matterhorn, immediately confirmed that he is in an excellent period. Behind him after a close challenge was the two-time winner of this race William Boffelli. Third was the Frenchman Frédéric Tranchand.
As for women, the Russian Anastasia Rubtsova prevailed over the Swiss Maria Christen and the Mexican Karina Carsolio.
