Royal Antwerp would be interested in Steven Berghuis, reports Sacha Tavolieri. The journalist also reports that there would have been talks to reach a personal agreement.
Royal Antwerp, the club where Mark van Bommel and Marc Overmars are active, would see the replacement for Calvin Stengs in Berghuis. He preferred a transfer to Feyenoord to a longer stay and a final transfer to Antwerp.
A transfer from Berghuis would be curious, since trainer Maurice Steijn indicated on Sunday that he would stay with Ajax. According to Steijn, Berghuis would be very proud to wear the Ajax shirt. He still has a contract until mid-2025 in Amsterdam.
