Dance and Circus Magic: A Recap of the Spring Holidays at the Leisure Center

The spring holidays at the leisure center focused on the themes of dance and circus. 59 children, aged 3 to 12, participated.

The first week, focused on dance, the children tried their hand at performing dance steps to the sound of the hurdy-gurdy, played by Maëly. A performance was given with the accompaniment of Aurélie. The collaboration of the Foyer rural association allowed those under 6 years old to discover the art of dance just like the rest of the group.

Supervised by Mona, Anne-Laure and Léa, different artistic activities were offered such as magic sand art and a visit to the library. On the sports side, Anthony proposed badminton, library (baseball form) and handball, activities to which was added an outing to the music museum in Montluçon Mupop, which closed this theme.

The other week allowed an immersion in the world of the circus, with the practice of acrosport, diabolo and ribbon. Claire suggested making bolas (circus equipment), creating clowns and a carousel.

A children’s show and a costume party with a makeup workshop rounded off these holidays, without forgetting a trip to a games room in Lempdes.
