The president of the Criminal Law Institute of the Entre Ríos Bar Association, in a dialogue with RADIO LA VOZ, ratified the request that Boris Cohen be appointed to the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF) because the lawyer won the contest for assistant prosecutor in Paraná. “We defend a person who has been attacked, both Boris and the jurors were vilely attacked, with disregard for the rules of the game,” he considered.
As Miguel Ángel Cullen pointed out, the renowned lawyer “competed in total inequality with the prosecutors, people who have been working in the position for which they were competing for five years. That generated a huge anger, they felt that they had failed because they lost to someone who is not doing that task and who, in addition, got the highest possible score” in the written opposition test.
“This is serious. A person who is exercising excessive power loses and, since he lost, he begins to dirty whoever won. He was annoyed that Boris Cohen won, for being a lawyer, for not being part of the corporations and, even, for having a relaxed style, ”he remarked.
“It concerns us because it is a public contest, because there is a ferocious, cunning and bad offense against a dearest colleague – Cullen said – they imagined a black, Jewish and Peronist prosecutor, that bothered”.
“You have to comply with the law – he claimed through RADIO LA VOZ – we took Boris’s complaint and this is the way to make our opinion known as a school and in defense of one of those enrolled.”
