PSV started the new season in the Eredivisie with an easy win against FC Utrecht: 2-0. The PSV supporters saw Noa Lang open the score with a loud bang and substitute Yorbe Vertessen recorded the final score.
Utrecht had not come to Eindhoven to simply be put aside and kept pace with PSV for a long time. The home team needed a flash from Noa Lang to make the difference. The former Club Brugge striker hit the top corner wonderfully.
Lang first came close to a second goal, but was pulled aside after just over an hour. In his place came Yorbe Vertessen, who returned to PSV after his loan to Union.
And it was our compatriot who put the game in its final fold. On the counter-attack he mercilessly punished Utrecht’s loss of possession: 2-0 and match played. At PSV Johan Bakayoko started in the base, he was replaced in the end.
