In the second round of the Czech Cup, Prostějov’s footballers will once again face off against their opponent. After the record win in Řepiště, which started with its reserve, one of the pair Žďár nad Sázavou or Znojmo will be waiting for coach Šmarda’s ward. These two teams will play together in the opening round of the cup today.
Last week, the match was moved due to unsuitable terrain. Prostějov will be the favorite again and would like to confirm this role and get to the next round.
“Of course we want to succeed in the cup. I used to give it even more weight, but now I take it more so that no one gets hurt. But I certainly wish that we advance and subsequently welcome one of the attractive league rivals at home, which our fans deserve,” revealed club chairman František Jura.
