CIVITANOVA – In the night between last Saturday and Sunday, around 3.00, the police officers of the Civitanova Marche PS Commissariat intervened at the Piermanni seafront where the presence of several young people who were arguing with each other had been reported.
On the spot, the agents ascertained the presence of a car on board which there were three young people aged between 20 and 21 and the presence on the spot of other young people of the same age with whom they had come to an argument, owners of some mopeds parked nearby.
A baseball bat was found under the car that the three occupants of the car had tried to hide when the police arrived, while on board the vehicle, as also reported by the other boys present, some helmets were found that the owners of the mopeds had anchored to their means and which they claimed as their property.
Some parents of the boys whose helmets had been stolen also went to the scene shortly after, acknowledging the helmets as the property of their respective children, which is why they lodged a complaint with the Police Commissariat.
In view of the above, the three boys aboard the car, all residing in the province of Fermo, who were unable to provide plausible justifications for their presence in that place, nor were they able to justify the presence of helmets inside the car, were reported to the GA for the crime of aggravated theft and threats.
The situation was immediately calmed down by the Commissariat operators who immediately returned the stolen goods to their respective owners.
