Later, in the final, Pļaviņs/Fokerot beat Poland’s Jendzej Brozniak/Piotra Janiak (2nd) with 2-0 (26:24, 21:16), and in the bronze duel, Tocs/Bulgačs with 2-1 (21:18, 19:21, 15 :12) were superior to the Lithuanians Arturas Vasilijeva/Roberta Yuhnievics (6th).
Pļaviņš/Fokerots earned 400 points in the tournament, Točs/Bulgačs – 320 points, Ardis Bedrītis/Artūrs Rinkevičs, who lost to the future champions in the quarterfinals, – 240 points. The fourth Latvian duo Sandis Bērziņš/Dāvis Teteris (14th), who previously also overcame two qualifying rounds, ended the competition with a shared ninth place and 180 world ranking points.
On the other hand, in the women’s competition, Līva Āber/Daniela Konstantinova did not overcome the qualification barrier, who finished the competition in joint 17th place, earning 100 world ranking points.
In the “Pro Beach Tour” ranking, the first is the “Elite 16” competition, the second – “Challenge”, the third – the “Futures” competition.
