A man in his thirties was hit by a train in Legnano on Wednesday evening around half past ten. The tragedy took place near via Plinio. The man was reportedly hit by a train bound for Milan Central Station.
Subsequently, rail traffic was blocked. The police, present on site together with the fire brigade, the local police and the railway police, called some taxis to take the passengers of the train involved in the accident to their destination. The rescuers of the Red Cross, on the other hand, could not help but ascertain the man’s death.
It is not known if the tragedy is the result of a voluntary gesture by the 30-year-old or if instead it is an accident.
