One more night of aerial duel between Russia and Ukraine – Europe

The Russian authorities report attacks, shooting downs and closures of airspace in at least seven regions of the country, including that of the capital.

At least 10 drones attacked Pskov airport in the night, not far from the border with Estonia: after the attack, which damaged at least four Ilyushin Il-76 strategic transport aircraft, Russian troops displaced the remaining transport aircraft: at least five aircraft
they left the airport during the night, military sources said.

The Moscow airports of Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo have been temporarily closed, after the defense ministry announced the downing of a military drone over the capital region. The Vnukovo airport had already been closed and then temporarily reopened a few hours before this new provision. The Russian dicastery stated that “at around 3:30 Moscow time the attempt by the Kiev government to attack structures in Russia with a fixed-wing drone, intercepted and crashed on the territory of the municipality of
Ruzsky”, west of the capital.
