Olympic Champion Soars to Victory, Clearing 2.36 Meters in First Attempt

The Olympic champion won by overcoming the bar at a height of 2.36 meters in the first attempt.

American Juvon Harrison cleared 2.36 meters with his second attempt, achieving the biggest success of his career, while Qatar’s Mutaz Esa Barshim earned the bronze medal, who cleared the bar placed at a height of 2.33 meters with his first attempt, ranking third after three championship titles.

At the World Championships, Latvia is represented by nine track and field athletes, who did not start on Tuesday.

The master race will take place until August 27, with the participation of more than 2,000 track and field athletes from 202 countries of the world.
