The New York Jets have secured the services of another star player. The National Football League (NFL) team signed 28-year-old running back Dalvin Cook, who played for the Minnesota Vikings in his first six seasons in the league and was recently selected to the Pro Bowl four times in a row.
The Jets had previously strengthened with Quarterback veteran Aaron Rodgers. The 39-year-old playmaker, who won four league MVP awards during his 18-year stint with the Green Bay Packers, is expected to lead the team to the playoffs for the first time in 13 years. No other team is waiting longer to participate in the postseason again.
Patriots holen Elliott
According to media reports, AFC East rivals New England Patriots have signed another established running back in Ezekiel Elliott. Like Cook, the 28-year-old played in his first seven seasons in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys.
