Fanmail, Noa Lang must have thought when he opened the mailbox.
Only the mood of the Netherlands undoubtedly changed quickly when he started to read the letter sent by post from the “PSV supporter”.
Lang shared the strange writing on his Instagram account.
“Hello Noa, have you seen Van der Poel? What a cyclist he is, what a character. You don’t have that, do you? Van der Poel is a neat boy – neat hair, nice teeth, no tattoos on his neck and no big mouth like you. Take an example from him.”
The accusations go even further, but Lang clearly doesn’t care: “Good luck to you this season too. Together to 25 (national titles, ed.).”
It is not the first time that a “fan” has crossed the line towards Lang. Last season, when the Dutchman was still playing for Club, someone targeted his newborn son.
“Some internet heroes go too far,” Lang wrote at the time. After an apology from the perpetrator, he decided not to file a complaint.
