Nico Hülkenberg will also drive for Formula 1 Team Haas in 2024

Nico Hülkenberg will also drive for the Haas Formula 1 team in the coming season. The US racing team also confirmed Denmark’s Kevin Magnussen as the second driver ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort. “Kevin and Nico are clearly enjoying their time in the sport, they are both mature and understand exactly what we are asking of them. Now it’s up to us as a team to look to 2024 and make sure we have a car that we can regularly score points with,” explained Haas team boss Günther Steiner.

The 36-year-old Rhinelander Hülkenberg returned to the cockpit after a three-year break this season as a regular driver. He took over from Mick Schumacher, who had to leave Haas at the end of 2022 after two years and is only a reserve driver at Mercedes. “Having not driven full-time in Formula 1 since 2019 shows how professional he is and how well he has recovered physically,” Steiner said of Hulkenberg. Magnussen drove for Haas from 2017 to 2020 before returning in 2022.

We drive in a very tight midfield and I’m looking forward to building on what we’ve achieved together so far and continuing that in 2024 Points 14th place in World Championship.
