MLB Announces Financial Rewards for Senior National Team Players in World Baseball Classic

Senior national team players will receive a large injection of money into their bank accounts for their participation in the playoffs and then the World Baseball Classic

Major League Baseball (MLB) will begin to distribute the money with the federations of all countries, including Panama.

According to the money allocated to each country just for participating, each Isthmian baseball player will receive 6,100 dollars.

MLB allocated 300,000 dollars to Panama for its participation in the World Classic and 150,000 will go directly to the Baseball Federation and the other half to be distributed among the players on the roster.
