Parsons has been named All-Pro, Pro Bowl and runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year in each of his two seasons in Dallas.
OXNARD — Micah Parsons is just 24 years old and is about to start his third year with the Dallas Cowboysbut he is already thinking of one day ending up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“When you talk about great races, you talk about the Hall of FameI not only want to reach the Hall of Fame. I want to be recognized as one of the greatest in the Hall of Fame“, declared Parsons. “There are categories in everything. There’s good. There’s great, and there’s, like, perfect… When you talk about me, I don’t want to just be mentioned in the Hall of Fame. Yes, it is a great recognition, but I want to be one of the greatest in the Hall of Fame“.
Parsons has been named All-Proplayer of Pro Bowl and has been in second place for the award to Defensive Player of the Year in each of his two seasons as a linebacker in Dallas.

For him, players like Lawrence Taylor, Jerry Rice, Deion Sanders y Michael Strahan they are in the elite of the elite when it comes to the Hall of Fame.
“They really set the tone for what it means to be great, and how to separate yourself from others,” he acknowledged. Parsons. “And they all had that attitude, and when you talk about brands, Strahan he still holds the record for most sacks in a campaign. Then, ‘Prime Time‘, as long as the ball was in the air, it was theirs. So, everyone has something of their own, and when you talk about the greatest, you think about those guys and how dominant they were and what kind of force they were. Parsons. “I couldn’t be more excited for him. I thought he was a freshman eligibility guy. A guy I looked up to. His IQ, bro, whenever you just talk to him about football, when he came around that first day, I learned so much And, he really owns the place, and man, when you talk about sleight of hand and technique and precision, that guy is the epitome of it.”
Ware should have left the Cowboys to win a Super Bowldefeating the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos. Parsons knows that championships help establish legacies, and Cowboys they haven’t made it past the second round of the playoffs in their first two years.
“There were people who had great careers, but without that Super Bowlman… that Super Bowl carries so much weight,” he said. “When you talk about championships, why do people say that [Michael] Jordan was it the biggest? It went 6-0. Yeah LeBron [James] went 10-0 in the Finalesthere would be no debate. I think those rings and those moments is where the best player steps up, he leads you and lifts everyone around. There is simply no better time in sports, no matter what. They all go to Finaleseveryone goes to Super Bowlbecause it is the most important moment in life”.
