Mehmet Okur, who served the club in Tofaş between 1998-2000 and played an important role in all the cups won at that time, will contribute to the individual development of the players by taking part in the Tofaş Basketball A Team technical team during the preparation program for the 2023-2024 season.

In the 2023-2024 Season, Tofaş will compete with its renewed staff in the FIBA ​​Basketball Champions League and Basketball Super League, while the preparations for the new season continue with the participation of foreign players, while the A Team technical team under the management of Orhun Ene has been reinforced for the preparation process for the new season. The club served between 1998-2000 and played an important role in all the trophies won at that time; Mehmet Okur, who also works in the technical team of our A National Basketball Team, will take place in the A Team technical team during the preparations of the Bursa team for the 2023-2024 season.

Mehmet Okur, who transferred to Tofaş from OYAK Renault in June 1998, became the first and only Turkish basketball player to have represented our country in the NBA for years, won the championship and was selected for the All-Star. Having won two league championships, two Turkish Cups and a Presidential Cup in the 1998-1999 and 1999-2000 seasons in the blue-green club, Mehmet Okur has also been in the technical team of the A National Basketball Team since 2021.
