Liverpool FC Close to Signing Wataru Endō from VfB Stuttgart

Wataru Endō is indeed drawn to England for Liverpool FC shortly before the start of the league. As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed in the evening, the midfielder’s change is as good as over. The Stuttgart professional will complete the medical examinations at the LFC on Thursday.

Of course, the transfer will bring a lot of money into the coffers of VfB Stuttgart. Liverpool is to transfer 18 million euros to the Swabians. According to Transfermarkt, Endo currently has a market value of 6.5 million euros. The Japanese is only contractually bound in Stuttgart for the upcoming season, i.e. until 2024.

For Endō, moving to a top club in the Premier League is a dream come true. Stuttgart, on the other hand, loses its most important player.

Regarding the original report of August 15, 2023:

Liverpool are working on Endo’s signing

That would be a painful departure for VfB Stuttgart! According to the usually well-informed transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool FC are working on a permanent signing for Wataru Endō. A first written offer has already been submitted.

The player himself would like to take the step to the top club from the Premier League because it could possibly be the biggest change opportunity of his career.

In order for Stuttgart to hand over the 30-year-old Japanese, who is also the team captain, a lot of money would have to be offered. Endō is the heart of the VfB team and is under contract until 2024.
