In the final warm-up game for the two national teams, Lithuania pulled off an impressive 93-69 win over Latvia to close out the tournament in Taiwan, which also included Puerto Rico which both teams beat.
The two Lithuanian big men Jonas Valanciunas (16 points and 6 rebounds), and the Monegasque Donatas Motiejunas (13 points and 7 rebounds) were dominating. Anžejus Pasečnikas tried to save the Latvian side with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
Deprived of its superstar Kristaps Porzingis, Latvia will be one of the opponents of the France team at the World Cup with Canada and Lebanon in Group H.
By comparison, the Blues have twice won Lithuania in preparation: 90-72 in Orleans and 70-76 in Vilnius.
