In recent weeks, rumors of a departure to the British formation Ineos, with more resources than the Belgian team, have been more and more insistent. Evenepoel, online world champion in 2022 and time trial champion this year, should compete in his first Tour de France next year with the aim of competing with the double winners of the Grande Boucle Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard. The Belgian, 23, will participate in the Tour of Spain (August 26-September 27) which he won last year and where he will notably be opposed to the Dane Vingegaard, winner of the last two Tours of France.
