Intense Altercation Between Jose Ramirez and Tim Anderson During Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox Game

Jose Ramirez and Tim Anderson gave each other Saturday Night Card main battle looks as they traded punches liberally during the 8th inning of the game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Chicago White Sox.

If the judges were called to hand out cards, they would surely be in favor of Ramirez who sent Anderson to visit the earth with a powerful right. Anderson got up before the eight count, but both benches emptied, ending the altercation between the two men.

The scuffle began when Ramirez slid to second base on a tight play where the powerful hitter was ruled safe on a double. Ramirez slipped between the legs of Anderson who was obviously in no hurry to move, visibly angering his rival. After an exchange of a few words on his feet, Ramirez placed his finger in Anderson’s face, setting fire to the powder.

The game ended in a 7-4 victory for the White Sox. Besides bringing his fist, Ramirez contributed with an RBI on the double that started the hostilities of the sixth inning.
