Tijuana.- Last weekend, the 65 INDEX Zona Costa BC Sports Tournament continued its course with an exciting day of basketball, bringing together 8 teams in the competition.
Miguel Ángel Chávez Acosta, Sports Coordinator of INDEX Zona Costa BC, shared that during this weekend 4 games were held in the discipline of basketball. The participating teams were Jets, Zanfra, Visa Fácil, MMC, Legrand, Mad Ants, Proyecto Vegas and Index (formerly known as Jaguares).
“Basketball is a sport that is very popular all over the world. It combines fun with strategy, being accessible to everyone, but at the same time challenging. This discipline provides both physical and mental benefits, which is why we include it in our tournament. It is a very popular choice among our partners and participants,” said Chávez Acosta.
The meetings took place in the “Ernesto Pajarito Ruiz” gym. The final results of the matches were as follows: Jets vs. Zanfra 49-92, Easy Visa vs. MMC 54-67, Legrand vs. Mad Ants and Proyecto Vegas vs. Index 66-69.
Guillermo Gómez, a member of the Mauricio Monroy Contadores (MMC) team, shared his experience at the INDEX 65 Sports Tournament. He described the tournament as motivating and challenging, as it gives them the chance to improve both physically and personally.
He added that his team is made up of accountants, former accountants, accounting school students, clients, suppliers and friends. They all share a passion for basketball and take advantage of every opportunity to strengthen their comprehensive development through sports practice.
