Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival: Celebrating Harmony and the Power to Change the Future

The Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival will be held from the 15th to the 17th of next month at 47 stadiums in Goyang, including the Goyang Sports Complex.

For the revitalization of sports for life and harmony among the people of the province, the Sports Festival for All, in which ordinary people, not professional players, participate, participates in 25 events including soccer, badminton, and tennis, with about 20,000 people from 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do.

The slogan of the competition is ‘enhancing the power to change the future, the power to achieve harmony’.

The Opening Ceremony begins with the spectacular entry of athletes from each city and county.

Top-notch singers such as Oh My Girl, Lee Chan-won, Jang Yoon-jung, Kim Hee-jae, Byeolsarang, and Kang Tae-pung will appear in the opening celebration performance.

Local artists such as the Goyang Municipal Art Troupe and Goyang Arts High School will also appear to present a stage that all generations can enjoy together.
