Guardiol will become the most expensive center back in the world

The “Bild” newspaper writes that the German Bundesliga club “Leipzig” will receive 90 million euros for the 21-year-old Croatian footballer, which is three million more than Manchester United paid for Harry Maguire in 2019.

The deal will be announced in the coming days after Guardiol has passed his medical.

Guardiol started his professional career at “Dinamo” Zagreb, but he has been under the wing of the Leipzig club since 2020. At that time, 18 million euros were paid for the player.
