“Jordan will always be cherished in Warriors history for what he did and for helping us get back to where we needed to go.”Thompson said. “And I know he’s going to do great things in Washington.”
After being used largely off the bench in his first two seasons, between stints with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Poole grabbed the starting shooting guard job in 2021-2022, with Thompson crediting his work ethic, adding that Poole it reminded him of his younger self.
“Jordan is forever gonna be cherished in the Warriors lore … Washington got a good one.”
