This stadium is worth a trip!
After the 5:3 win against Schalke, HSV will play its first away game of the season on Sunday at KSC (1.30 p.m.) in a real jewel case.
After around four and a half years, the “BBBank Wildlife Park” is now complete. The prestige building cost around 155 million euros. 34,302 spectators will find space in the beautiful arena.

The game against HSV with 32,000 visitors has been sold out since Monday. Around 2000 tickets could not go on sale due to space-consuming security buffer zones and provisional advertising screens. Can HSV manage the first away three of the season and ensure KSC’s home defeat for the first time?
For the official season opener, Baden invited FC Liverpool (2:4) on July 19. After the final whistle, KSC coach Christian Eichner (40) was totally enthusiastic about the new stadium, said on SWR: “There were only winners in the overall package. I believe that applies to the city of Karlsruhe, to the club, to the employees in the club, who are rarely in the limelight in public, and to everyone who worked. This is a moment for viewers and citizens.”

During the construction phase, the game continued to be played on the “wildlife park construction site”. As was the case when the new Volkspark Stadium (1998 to 2000) was built. One after the other, the east, south, north and west stands were demolished and rebuilt.
Biggest change: The hot-blooded KSC supporters, who have been based on the back straight for decades, have moved and are now behind the goal on the south stand.
By the way: after the final whistle, the 3,000 HSV fans can, for safety reasons, use a specially built bridge to get to the guest car park and leave without “touching the enemy”.
