Assistant Coaches from Italy

After the surprising departure of Hanot Zabaleta Carro, the Tigers have completed the coaching team around head coach Daniel Jansson and video analyst Tom Walther with two Italians. The 28-year-old Carlo Finetti, most recently head coach at second division Udine, comes as an assistant coach, Daniele Malengo (34) as a strength, athletic and mental coach. Malengo was a two-time Italian champion as a baseball pro and began working as a personal trainer and mental coach while he was still playing. Finetti has already arrived in Tübingen and will take part in the trainers’ meeting of all Bundesliga clubs in Cologne until Monday. Both have signed a contract with the Tigers for the coming season.
