Barito Putera ended week seven by occupying the top of the standings. They shifted Madura United.
Barito defeated Dewa United with a score of 2-1 at the Demang Lehman Martapura Stadium, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan, Wednesday, 9 August. On the same day, Madura United lost 1-3 to Rans Nusantara FC.
Now Barit and Madura both pack 13 points. However, Barito excels in goal difference.
Persija Jakarta, who was held by Borneo FC 1-1, is in third place with 12 points, ahead on goal difference from Rans Nusantara FC.

Persib Bandung suffered its second defeat of the season, the first under coach Bojan Hodak. They lost 1-2 at Persis Solo headquarters, Monday.
The defeat made Persib slide into the relegation zone. They scored 7 points, one point behind Persikbo, Persik Kediri and Persebaya who were above them.
The bottom position of the standings is still filled with Arema FC, which has yet to win. They lost 0-2 at the PSIS Semarang headquarters and so far have only scored 2 points, 2 points behind Bhayangkara FC who are above them and have just been defeated by Persebaya Surabaya 1-2.
