Harry Kane has reportedly not traveled to Barcelona for a friendly with his club Tottenham Hotspur. Does that have anything to do with transfer poker with FC Bayern?

According to media reports, Bayern Munich’s dream striker Harry Kane did not travel to his club Tottenham Hotspur’s friendly against FC Barcelona.

As reported by Sky Sports, this has nothing to do with transfer poker for the captain of the English national football team. Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou is said to be without several players who were in action in Sunday’s friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk (5-1). There was initially no official statement on this. The preparatory game in Barcelona will take place in the evening.

The media had previously said that Kane wants a decision on his future in transfer poker later this week. The newspaper “Evening Standard” even wrote that Kane tends not to move to Munich this summer. The goalscorer is impressed by the philosophy of the new coach Postecoglou and enjoys training with the Greek-born Australian.

If FC Bayern and Kane’s previous football club Tottenham cannot reach an agreement this week, Kane will initially put a change on hold, the English newspaper “The Telegraph” previously reported. The Munich team are therefore considering making another offer for the star striker after Tottenham rejected the last record offer on Monday.

According to information from Sport1, the Premier League club requires a higher base fee. Tottenham are said to be demanding £100m (€116m) for their goalscorer. The portal “The Athletic” wrote that the two clubs were around 25 million pounds (29 million euros) apart in their ideas about the transfer fee for the 30-year-old England national team captain.

Right-back Kyle Walker, also considered a candidate for a move to Munich, is said to have received an improved offer for a new contract from his club Manchester City. This is what Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote.
