The double winner on the Asian Tour also allowed himself to widen a small gap on his pursuers since he is five lengths ahead of his provisional runner-up, Chang Wei-lun (-13 total). The Taiwanese recorded a strong record of 69 thanks to five birdies and despite two bogeys. The third step of the podium (-12) is occupied by five players. We find Lee Chieh-po, Steve Lewton, Scott Hend, Richard T. Lee and MJ Viljoen. In the lead after the cut, the latter had a more complicated third round, concluded in 74 moves. Rather solid on his first nine holes (two birdies, two bogeys), the South African then failed to score and even conceded two additional bogeys.
