Ajax has presented the third kit for the upcoming season. The Ajax players will play in a black shirt with a diamond pattern during the European away games. And as always, there are Ajax fans who were immediately ready at the store.

It’s just right,” says an Ajax fan as he takes his Ajax shirt out of the packaging. According to Ajax, the kit is a tribute to the ‘diamonds’ that the club has produced through its own youth academy. “The kit is inspired by the diamonds of the past, present and future,” writes Ajax. The slogan reads: ‘Diamonds are forever’ and the shirt was presented in a video starring Jari Litmanen.

And as we know the Ajax fans, they know for sure: this is the championship shirt. “We are Amsterdammers and with this shirt we will become champions.”
In the first game of the season, the third kit will not yet be discussed. Ajax then plays at home against Heracles Almelo, so the first kit will be worn. There is a good chance that Ajax will wear the shirt in the first European away match.
