Aggravated Theft and Threats: Three Boys from Fermo Caught Stealing Party’s Helmets

An argument with a baseball bat after stealing a party’s helmets. It happened on the night between Saturday and Sunday, when three boys from Fermo were reported for aggravated theft and threats. Around 3 o’clock the police were called to the Piermanni seafront: some citizens had reported that a group of young people were having a rather animated discussion. Upon their arrival, police officers found a car carrying three 20- and 21-year-old boys, residents of the Fermo area. Nearby there were other peers, owners of some of some mopeds that were parked nearby. Under the car, police found a baseball bat that the three occupants of the car had tried to hide when the patrol arrived, and inside were some helmets. The owners of the scooters then explained that those helmets were theirs, and the others would have stolen them. After a while, the parents of the boys with mopeds also arrived, and they too recognized the helmets as those used by their children. So they immediately filed a complaint with the police station. The three passengers from Fermo, who were unable to explain to the police what they were doing there and why there were those helmets in their car, were reported. The agents immediately returned the stolen goods to the owners, restoring the situation to calm.
