“This new route will be an additional alternative for domestic and international travelers who originate from destinations such as Tijuana, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Toronto, San Francisco and Chicago, among others,” the company said in a statement.

The destination joins the Aeroméxico offer in Quintana Roo, which includes the airports of Cancún, Chetumal and Cozumel.

“As the flag carrier of Mexico, we are very happy to participate in the inauguration of this air terminal because, in addition to the fact that it will be a great airport facility, many of our clients have Tulum and the southern Riviera Maya as their final destination, which are benchmarks international for the tourist richness that our country offers”, said José Zapata, Vice President of Sales in the country of Aeroméxico.
