The 2023 National Police Chief Cup Tournament enters the third round of the top 8 series. Polda Metro Jaya successfully hosted the western zone in series II of the round of 16 at the Bulungan Gor Gor, Jakarta.

“For our implementation as hosts of the top 16 in the western region, the audience was very enthusiastic and even the Chief of Police watched. The field that we use for the match is Bulungan Gor,” said Kombes Pol Langgeng Purnomo, Saturday (19/8/2023).
The 1995 Police Academy alumnus added that the matches were carried out by the men’s and women’s volleyball teams that managed to qualify in their respective preliminary zones.
“We hope that this competition can enhance the positive image of the people in Jakarta and can become a selection of superior athletes for junior volleyball athletes to continue to train enthusiastically,” he said.
In the top 16 round, the DKI Men’s Team managed to qualify for the top 8 round to Pontianak leaving on Sunday.
The match at Bulungan Gor takes place from 13 to 19 August starting at 14.00 WIB until it finishes
. “Many star players from the Pro League will also compete, and for people who come to watch live at Gor it’s free and can also watch live streaming,” he concluded.
Meanwhile AKBP Dwiasi Wiyatputera as the manager of the DKI Jaya volleyball team stated, he was grateful that the DKI Men’s team had managed to qualify for the top 8. “We will try to give the best results in the final round. We ask for the blessings of the residents of the city, accompanied by coach Walfredus Wahyu, together with the head of PBVSI DKI, Zulfrasah, said that the match in Jakarta will be the preparation for the next appearance in Pontianak. “Still as a trial venue before Prapon in Jakarta, next October. We thank Mr Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Karyoto who has supported the DKI Jaya Volleyball team and Mr Karo HR Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Langgeng Purnomo and Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman Who has coached Jakarta volleyball athletes in this Championship.
