ZDF Takes Over the Airwaves with ‘Finals 2023’ Broadcast Day

Almost the entire broadcast day belonged to the “Finals 2023” on ZDF. Live sports action was concentrated from 10 a.m. until late in the evening.

To a certain extent, such broadcast schedules can only be reported on in the winter months, but ZDF makes the entire Saturday “The Finals 2023” day. The start at 10:15 a.m. belonged to the “Triathlon”, which was already followed by 0.4 million viewers. The first “Finals” market share of the day was 8.2 percent, the younger audience got 7.5 percent of their market. This required 0.08 million younger viewers. The market shares rose to 10.0 and 9.5 percent.

At the “Kanu” event from 1:30 p.m., ZDF then cracked the 1 million mark. The event attracted 1.02 million viewers and a good 12.5 percent of the TV market, the younger audience came with 0.17 million viewers or 10.1 percent. The “athletics” from 2:05 p.m. was the next highlight. A strong 1.32 million viewers have now tuned in, and the market share is a brilliant 13.0 percent. Younger viewers were further 0.16 million, 9.5 percent came together.

This was followed by the “gymnastics” events at 2:55 p.m., with 1.03 million viewers, and the market share remained high at 10.8 percent. 14 to 49-year-old viewers were defined as 0.12 million, reaching 7.0 percent of the market. While “Judo” and “Breaking” were able to keep the ranges at 1.05 and 1.01 million between 4:50 p.m. and 5:35 p.m., the “Finals 2023” Saturday ended well.
