XXIX Provincial Circuit of Basketball 3×3 to be Held in Rincón de la Victoria

The APAL de Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Rincón de la Victoria has announced the celebration of the XXIX Provincial Circuit of Basketball 3×3 of the Diputación that will be held on July 21 in the Plaza de la Constitución. The mayor of the Area, Antonio José Martín (PP) has explained that “the tournament will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the participation of more than 250 players, male and female, for the mixed teams of pre-minibasket, minibasket, children’s, cadet, absolute and over 45 categories”.

The mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado (PP), has highlighted in a statement “the commitment to sport and the promotion that is carried out through this type of provincial circuits that represent a playful and healthy alternative that takes place in open spaces during the summer months”.

The participation of some 70 teams made up of a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 4 is expected. Registrations will be made online through the following web address: www.malaga.es/deportes/ or in person at the venue of the tournament, up to 30 minutes before the start of the tournament.

Prices vary between 5 euros for online registrations and 6 euros for face-to-face registrations, including in both cases participation in the tournament, a technical shirt as a gift, accident insurance and liquid supplies. 3×3 Basketball is a modality consisting of teams of three players and the use of only half a field.

On the other hand, the mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado, together with the Councilor for Sports, Antonio José Martín, and councilors received the Carranque-Candelaria team, made up of the CD Hockey La Candelaria and Carranque clubs, after proclaiming themselves champions of Spain for the first time in the 1st Women’s Field Hockey Division.

Salado, who has presented an award to the president of the club, María del Carmen Barea together with the sub-captain, Laura Romero, has reiterated his congratulations “on the achievement of this title, which is the finishing touch to a brilliant season in which so many achievements and milestones have been achieved that make this club an unstoppable team”. Barea also had words of gratitude “for the constant support we receive from the City Council that helps us to continue working with enthusiasm and good prospects for the coming seasons.”
