For the long-suffering supporters of VfB Stuttgart, there was a disturbing amount of good news all at once: first two victories in the relegation games against Hamburger SV (3:0, 3:1), then the surprising announcement of a “world brand alliance”, after which the Car manufacturer Porsche will participate in VfB through its subsidiary MHP with a 100 million euro package – in addition to the anchor investor Mercedes, which had previously announced a partial withdrawal.
