Having to start their second half of the season with confidence, the Toronto Blue Jays had quite a scare when they saw their star reliever Jordan Romano fall in battle this week. Fortunately for them, the Canadian is already doing better.
The 30-year-old pitcher experienced back pain during the Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday. Having to be on the mound for the entire seventh inning, he finally made only five shots before returning to the locker room.

On Friday, head coach John Schneider claimed Romano was doing “much better than we thought” after a training session the Gunner took part in.
The Ontarian leads the American League with 26 saves and could approach his personal best of 36. He has maintained a good 2.87 earned run average in 39 games this season.
On Friday night, the Blue Jays will begin a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Rogers Centre.
