And in addition to her active career, she also finds time for her new hobby – commentating on the Premier League behind the microphone or in the studio as an expert. “I get a positive response from everything that comes to me. Of course there will be people who will hate me,” says Svitková in the Přímák show on Sport.cz.
“There were, are and will be haters. For men, football is often something that a woman should not touch. They feel dominant there and I take it,” the Czech representative continues, adding that even in England, women did not have it easy, especially with the male audience. “Over time, people got used to it. It’s about accepting that a woman can talk about football and not say complete nonsense. I think it could enrich football with a slightly different approach.”

The 28-year-old native of Pilsen is definitely not flying in the clouds. He knows that he is new to the industry, that if he wants to advance, he needs to gain experience.
“It’s still not my job, I’m learning and trying to improve. Obviously I will make many mistakes, everyone does. It’s about me working on them and trying to be better every show. Then it’s up to the audience whether they accept it or not,” states Svitková.
At the same time, she still refuses to enjoy the position in the chair or behind the microphone enough to limit what she loves most.
“Of course it’s better to play. Football is life for me. The feelings I experience on the field cannot be compensated for anywhere else. I am happy that I am gradually coming back. Hopefully my health will be better and I will rather just play,” he is clear.
